Exhibition Schedule Announced For 2019-20

With the BCHL formally announcing the schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 regular season just over a week ago, each team was able to finalize and start releasing the details of the pre-season schedule. The Surrey Eagles will play a total of five exhibition games before the season gets going for real – three at home and two on the road.

It all begins on Thursday, August 22nd, as the Eagles will take a short trip to George Preston Recreation Centre in Langley for a matchup against the Rivermen. That game is slated to start at 7:15 PM.

The Eagles will then play three in a row at home at South Surrey Arena. On Saturday, August 24th, the Chilliwack Chiefs come to town for a 7 PM game. Following the Chiefs will be the Coquitlam Express on Tuesday, August 27th at 8 PM. The third and final home pre-season game will take place on Friday, August 30th at 7 PM against the Wenatchee Wild.

The Eagles will round out the pre-season with a road game in Chilliwack at Prospera Centre on Saturday, August 31st – also at 7 PM.

After five days of rest, the season will officially get going on September 6th, with the Eagles making the long trek to Prince George. They will open the season with a pair of games against the defending Fred Page Cup champions at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

Please keep in mind that all exhibition games and start times are subject to change. The latest updated info will always be found at SurreyEagles.ca.

Admittance to the home pre-season games at South Surrey Arena will be by donation. The Eagles are proud to partner with the Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association on a new venture called Never Too Late. It is a program designed to encourage kids and assist families financially who are having difficulties affording to play the game of hockey. Proceeds from the pre-season admittance fee will be given to the fund.
