The CJHL has announced today that they will be making a donation of $2,500 towards KidSport before January 26th’s prospect game at South Surrey Arena.
They will be making the donation with contributions from Hockey Canada and the NHL. The money will be used by local minor hockey associations to help with registration fees for five first-time hockey players next season.
Puck drop for the prospects game is scheduled for 7:05 PM, but the official announcement will take place shortly before that. It should be a very festive atmosphere with many local schools and minor hockey teams expected to be in attendance.
