Teddy Bear Toss Is Saturday Night At South Surrey Arena

One of the most anticipated nights of the hockey season is coming up! The Surrey Eagles annual Teddy Bear Toss in support of the Surrey Christmas Bureau and Peace Arch Hospital auxiliary will take place on Saturday, December 8th at South Surrey Arena. The Eagles are set to take on the Coquitlam Express at 7 PM, and will follow that up with another home game the very next afternoon at 4 PM against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

The Teddy Bear Toss has been a hockey tradition that the Surrey Eagles have taken part in for the better part of the last decade. When the Eagles score their first goal of the game, fans throw their teddy bears onto the ice in celebration. All of the bears will be donated to the Surrey Christmas Bureau and Peace Arch Hospital auxiliary.

If you forget to bring a bear to the rink or would like to purchase one on site, there will be bears for sale starting at $5. All proceeds will also go to the Surrey Christmas Bureau and the Peace Arch Hospital auxiliary.

Come on out this Saturday night and join in the fun!
