Special Humboldt-Inspired Jersey Sale Friday Night

The Surrey Eagles host the Prince George Spruce Kings on Friday night at South Surrey Arena, and are holding a special tribute for the Humboldt Broncos. During the game the team will also be selling special Humbolt-inspired Eagles jerseys to raise money for the benefit of the family of Jaxon Joseph.

Joseph was a former Surrey Eagles player that was tragically killed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash earlier this year. His #10 jersey will be retired as part of the pre-game ceremonies, and his family will be on hand to take part.

The limited edition jerseys will be for sale on the concourse. Game-worn jerseys will be sold for $300 and there will also be a handful of non-game worn jerseys available for $200.

Eagles captain Ty Westgard models the special Humboldt-inspired jerseys the team will be wearing on Friday night.

Doors open for the game at 6 PM and the ceremonies will begin at 6:45. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM.

Tickets at the door are going to be in high demand, so it is recommended that you purchase them beforehand. Single game tickets are available for $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $5 for youth ages 6-12. Children 5 and under get in for free.
