Jeremy Smith Scores Two Goals In Eagles Debut

Eagles defenceman Jeremy Smith had a dream debut on Saturday night, scoring two goals in his first game with his new team after being acquired from the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Smith came over in the deal that sent Chase Stevenson to the Smoke Eaters, and made an immediate impact. He scored his 6th and 7th goals of the season, both on the powerplay, against Langley Rivermen goaltender Braedon Fleming. The Eagles trailed 4-0 in the game, and ended up pulling within a single goal after his second of the night – but sadly that’s as close as they would get.

Despite the loss, it will be a game to remember for Smith and his teammates. Check out the highlights of both goals in the video below!
