Goaltender Eli Pulver Commits To Surrey For 2021-22

Surrey, B.C. – The Surrey Eagles are proud to announce the commitment of goaltender Eli Pulver (03) for the 2021-22 season. Pulver is the 2nd player committed out of the Eagles spring ID camp, and will join Max Prazma as the goaltending duo for Surrey this upcoming season.

The Vancouver, B.C. native will join the Eagles after playing his last few years with St. Georges in the CSSHL. In Pulver’s last full season in 2019-20, Eli played in 24 games, going 12-11 with a 2.59 goals against average paired with a respectable .915 save percentage. Pulver also played in 2 BCHL games in his age 16 season with the Powell River Kings, posting a 4.83 GAA and a .778 save percentage in 2 games.

Pulver played 3 games this past season before his year was cut short, going 2-0 with 2.41 GAA and a .906 save percentage.

For Eli, it was an easy choice to join Surrey next season. “I heard great things about the team and the coach. I know a couple guys around here and I’m excited to get started.”

Pulver also referenced the opportunity to learn more about his craft from a team with a great goaltending resume the past few years. “There are tons of people to look up to and continue to learn from. I heard great things about [Tommy] Scarfone and [Cayden] Bailey so just super excited to keep that momentum going.”

For Eagles fans who haven’t seen Pulver play, he believes he’s got the full package. “I possess a strong work ethic, speed in the crease, and believe I can handle the puck well when needed.”

Welcome to the flock Eli!
