Edgerton scores his first goal with the Eagles in Prince George

The monkey is officially off his back! After numerous chances and goal posts, Cole Edgerton finally has his first goal with the Surrey Eagles. Edgerton scored his fourth goal of the season in beautiful fashion in Prince George against Spruce Kings netminder Keenan Rancier.

Edgerton was acquired on January 10th from the Coquitlam Express along with future considerations for Ty Westgard and Aaron White. He picked up his first point as an Eagle relatively quickly, in his fourth game, but the goal took a little longer than expected.

The line of Corey Clifton, Matthew McKim, and Edgerton has shown great chemistry of late – and it was only a matter of time before Edgerton was rewarded with a goal.
