Westgard Earns BCHL Honour

Last week was a great week for Surrey Eagles forward Ty Westgard. In just three games last week he put up two goals, three assists, a game winning goal, and managed to get 3rd star against  West Kelowna, 2nd star in the win against Victoria, and 1st star in the win against Prince George. To top off his hard-working week, Westgard also managed to get an honourable mention from the BCHL for Player of the Week.

Westgard, (‘98), is a local product of White Rock. He’s in his fourth season in the BCHL, playing in 14 games this season, putting up 5 goals and 12 assists – good for sixth overall in the league.

The 19 year old forward has played a total of 92 games in the BCHL, posting 23 goals and 49 assists.
