Justin Laforest is a 20-year-old goaltender that is playing in his first season with the Surrey Eagles. After spending three years with the Carleton Place Canadians organization in the CCHL, he played one season with the Portage Terriers of the MJHL before making the move to British Columbia.
At 6-foot-1, Laforest has good size and relies on his quick feet to get himself into position early. After missing some time earlier this season with an upper-body injury, Laforest returned to the lineup and made an immediate impression. On December 13th, he stopped 48 shots in a 3-3 tie against the Langley Rivermen.
