The Surrey Eagles Hockey Club has announced that they have acquired goaltender Keelan Williams from the West Kelowna Warriors. Williams is best known for leading the Warriors to the RBC Cup as their starting goaltender last season. The 20-year-old has not played a game yet this season after starting the year on injury reserve. He was acquired last season by the Warriors from the Camrose Kodiaks of the AJHL, and posted a 13-6-0 record with a 3.38 GAA and a .893 SV% in 22 appearances.

The Calgary, Alberta native was a key contributor to the Warriors championship win, appearing in 13 total games during the BCHL playoffs, Western Canada Cup and RBC Cup. Williams was spectacular, putting up a 2.27 GAA and sparkling .931 SV% in those games.

In exchange for Williams, the Eagles are sending forward Logan Mostat and future considerations to the Warriors. Mostat has appeared in 50 games for the team over the past two seasons, after he was signed from the Chase Heat of the KIJHL. The Eagles organization would like to thank Logan for his dedication and effort while with the team in Surrey, and wish him the best of luck in his new opportunity with the Warriors.

The Eagles next home game is Sunday, December 4th at 4:00 PM vs the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. There will be a free skate and autograph session after the game, so make sure you bring your skates to South Surrey Arena!
