Jeff Stewart Named BCHL Player of the Week

Eagles forward Jeff Stewart has been named as the BCHL’s player for the week ending November 6. The news comes out on the heels of his brilliant hat-trick performance on Sunday night against the Vernon Vipers. The BCHL made the announcement earlier today on their website:

Stewart picked up a hat trick as part of a five point week that saw his team win twice in three contests. The hometown Surrey product had a goal and an assist in being named the FortisBC Energy Player of the Game to open the week in a 5-3 home win over Langley. He concluded his week with a hat trick, game-winning goal and 1st Star in an 8-4 home-ice triumph over the Vernon Vipers.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pound forward now has 18 points in 18 games and is committed to NCAA Colgate University for 2018-19.

Forward Darius Davidson was also named in the release as an “Honourable Mention.” Davidson recorded 1 goal and 7 assists in that time frame, including picking up a four-point night in Sunday’s win against Vernon.

Congratulations, Jeff!
