The Surrey Eagles have announced their team award winners for the 2015-2016 season. The awards were handed out on the ice at South Surrey Arena after their final home game against the Alberni Valley Bulldogs on Sunday evening.
Captain Paul McAvoy took home the big prize, as he was named MVP of the team. Past winners of the award include Danton Heinen, Joe Drapluk, Dustin Slade, Greg Zanon, Nathan Oystrick, and Scott Gomez.
Darren Hards was voted as the winner of the Fan Favourite award. Votes were counted from ballots that fans filled out at the arena, and online at SurreyEagles.ca. Thank you to everyone that voted.
