Eagles Morning Skills

With an improved location and more user-friendly start times we are bringing back the Eagles Morning Skill Sessions in the fall of 2018. Monday to Wednesday mornings from 6:30am – 7:30am at South Surrey Arena the Eagles Skill Development Staff along with current Eagles players from the BCHL roster will provide exceptional skill development sessions in a fun positive environment.

These individually based skills sessions will be offered to players from H3 – Peewee. Since these sessions will be focused on an individuals core skills and not team concepts our professional coaches are able to allow players to move along and improve at their own pace rather then have players who find it too easy or too difficult.

Watching the steady improvement of the players who enrolled last season in our Morning Skills Sessions is very encouraging. One of our best success stories saw a player begin the 2017/18 season playing at a Midget A2 level and after a winter skating with the Eagles Morning Skills this same player was selected for the All Star game at a Major Midget Main Tryout Camp.

It has been proven time and again that the more ice time and puck touches a player can get while being corrected on their technique and execution of the core skills of hockey, the quicker the player will see improvement in their on-ice performance.  Our Eagles Morning Skills gives players the opportunity to get quality instruction an additional three times per week over other players on their team.

For more information on the Eagles Morning Skills or to register for this in-demand program beginning in the fall please contact kdarbyshire@surreyeagles.ca. Do not wait as space is very limited.
